Proposal: Trustee induction & policy refresh
Background
Arrow Miners' Heritage Society has asked Egerton Consulting to help with Trustee induction & policy refresh.
Four trustees have joined the society this year and there is no induction material. Graham would also like the society's policies brought up to date before the AGM.
Objectives
- A clear picture of how the board, its chair and management share decisions today.
- Practical recommendations the board can adopt, in priority order.
- Documents that match how the organisation actually works.
Review method
We review the founding documents, delegations and policies first, then talk with the people who use them. Findings are drafted against good practice for organisations of your size and tested with the chair before they go to the full board.
