Background
High Country Sounds Festival Trust has asked Egerton Consulting to help with Board workshop series.
With the funding application under way, Jonty would like three board workshops over the summer on roles, risk and succession. The trust has two new trustees joining in December.
Objectives
- A clear picture of how the board, its chair and management share decisions today.
- Practical recommendations the board can adopt, in priority order.
- Documents that match how the organisation actually works.
Review method
We review the founding documents, delegations and policies first, then talk with the people who use them. Findings are drafted against good practice for organisations of your size and tested with the chair before they go to the full board.
